IStraw
This product is applied by pneumatically blowing or spraying straw fibres into cavities, utilising a largely natural material and minimal synthetic binder or foam. It serves as insulation in walls, roofs and floors, especially in retrofit or unconventional spaces. The natural straw fibre system delivers effective thermal and acoustic insulation, while allowing the building to “breathe”. Because the installation fills gaps and adapts to geometry, it reduces thermal bridging and maintenance over time. Standard interior finishes or vapour‑open linings can be used, enabling design freedom. The treatment of straw into insulation improves stability and avoids synthetic insulating foams in many cases. Distributed via specialist insulation suppliers within Europe. The system’s sustainability is high: using agricultural by‑product, low embodied carbon and supporting healthier building standards.
