Thermafleece CosyWool and UltraWool are UK-manufactured natural insulations made from British sheep’s wool and recycled polyester, thermally bonded with a PET bi-component binder—an approach validated in research to outperform higher-wool-percentage alternatives while enhancing durability, breathability and stability. Suitable for walls, roofs and floors, the batts provide high thermal and acoustic performance across new-build and retrofit applications. CosyWool roll can be compressed by 50% which minimise transport impacts. Once installed, the wool fibre regulates moisture, improve indoor comfort and continues performing for the entire lifespan of the building without the need for maintenance.
Manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, tested to EN 16516 for low VOCs, and conforming to EN 15804+A2 EPD requirements, they support LEED and WELL material transparency and low-carbon construction.
