Overall Score

The sustainable upholstery fabric from Camira Fabrics blends 40% bast‑fiber hemp with 60% virgin wool, woven into a natural‑handle, plain‑weave textile that requires no flame‑retardant chemical treatment. Designed for commercial interiors — seating, panels, curtains — this fabric places plant‑based fibre at its heart while delivering durable performance. Its intrinsic flame retardancy and high durability mean lower chemical load and less frequent replacement. A wide palette of naturally inspired colourways is available, offering specification flexibility whilst maintaining healthy interiors. The hemp fibres, grown and processed using low‑impact methods, provide stability and longevity, while the wool blend improves resilience. Supplied globally from Camira’s UK production base, with availability in the UK, Europe and beyond. Certified to the EU Ecolabel and Indoor Advantage Gold, with full traceability from UK‑grown hemp through to yarn.
