Blocco Ambiente is a hemp lime biocomposite block manufactured by cold mixing dolomitic lime, hemp shiv, microorganisms and water. They offer an internal and external walling solution that can also be used to build masonry solid walls, solid floors and insulate roof spaces, ideal for new build and retrofit projects. Thanks to the hemp–lime mix, the blocks deliver excellent thermal and acoustic performance, vapour permeability, resist moisture and reduce maintenance over time. Finishes such as lime‑based renders or natural plasters can be applied, supporting a healthy indoor environment. Because the hemp shiv removes much of the resin‑bearing stalk and binds into a stable matrix, the final material is dimensionally stable and breathable.
