NatraHemp is manufactured from British‑grown hemp fibres blended with recycled polyester binder and thermally bonded to form a medium‑density insulation slab. It is used in roofs, walls and floors where plant‑fibre insulation is preferred, providing both thermal and acoustic insulation in domestic or light commercial installations. The product’s medium density and natural fibre core deliver long‑term stability, resistance to slumping, and little ongoing maintenance compared to conventional insulation. Natural external fibres combined with minimal processing mean the material breathes, regulates moisture and supports comfortable indoor air quality. Generally available across the UK market through building‑material suppliers.
Thermafleece publishes EPDs for other products, but NatraHemp is not currently included. However, it does carry sustainability credentials such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001 with factsheet that confirms its performance and recyclability (37.5% recycled content). Thermafleece positions the product as an efficient, safe, durable alternative when plant‑based insulation is preferred, contributing to carbon reduction.
