Plyboo® Strand Bamboo Plywood is a laminated bamboo panel product manufactured in Zhejiang, China from rapidly renewable bamboo poles that are processed into strips, kiln-dried, and bonded under heat and pressure with a synthetic adhesive. The product is supplied as a semi-finished plywood panel suitable for a wide range of interior architectural and joinery applications. Typical uses include cabinetry, casework, furniture, wall and ceiling panel systems, doors, and retail fixtures where plywood products are commonly specified. No quantified structural, fire, acoustic, or service life performance is declared in the EPD. Panels are available in a range of thicknesses and formats to support fabrication and system integration by downstream manufacturers. The material has a relatively high density and is predominantly bio-based. An independently verified Environmental Product Declaration in accordance with ISO 14025 and ISO 21930:2017 is available, covering cradle-to-gate environmental impacts.
