Siniat Standard Board is a gypsum plasterboard manufactured in the UK for general internal drylining applications. The board consists of an aerated calcium sulphate core encased in recycled paper liners and is produced to BS EN 520 Type A. It is used for partitions, wall linings and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. Performance characteristics such as fire resistance and acoustics depend on the complete wall or ceiling system rather than the board alone. The product requires no maintenance during its declared service life when correctly installed. Boards are mechanically fixed and finished with jointing or skim systems. Environmental performance is documented through a third-party verified EPD covering cradle-to-gate and end-of-life stages.
