Overall Score

This insulation board is manufactured from 100% natural cork granules (agglomerated) without additives, using the cork tree’s own resins, and delivers high thermal and acoustic performance over time. It is used in walls, floors, roofs or external facade systems, providing reliable insulation that resists thermal degradation and dimensional changes. Standard finishes (plaster, render, cladding) can be applied on top while preserving breathability and natural material benefits. The processing removes reliance on synthetic binders, improves stiffness and longevity, and avoids moisture or resin‑related issues. It is available internationally via Amorim’s distribution network. The product has strong sustainability credentials: cork is renewable, the manufacturing process is additive‑free, the material is carbon‑negative, and it is CE‑marked for performance and health.
