Overall Score

Manufactured by Kährs, this premium multi-layer engineered wood flooring features a robust three-layer construction that consists of a solid timber wear layer bonded to a core of pine/spruce lamella and a backing layer for stability. Designed for versatile use in both residential and commercial settings, it installs easily either as a floating floor or glued down for under-floor heating compatibility. Its layered construction improves dimensional stability, resists seasonal movement, and lowers long-term maintenance. Surface finishes include solvent-free lacquers or nature oil, allowing customization while maintaining indoor air quality. The manufacturing process reduces resin migration and waste by utilising raw timber more efficiently. With certifications including FloorScore®, EPD verified against ISO 14025 and sourcing from FSC/PEFC-certified forests, the product delivers strong sustainability credentials.
